Monster Hunter Stories | Capcom

Monster Hunter Stories (Fall)

The Monster Hunter series has seen huge success on the Nintendo 3DS, but Monster Hunter Stories launching in the US later this year is a pivot away from the four-player real-time fighting and grinding that the series is known for. In Stories you will be adventuring solo while riding monsters that you hatch and train to help you in battle.

Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters | Nintendo

Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters (Fall)

Psychic Specters is the definitive version of Yo-Kai Watch 2, blending both Boney Spirits and Fleshy Souls as well as adding additional quests, more Yo-Kai to befriend, and a beefed up Blasters co-op mode.

Miitopia
Miitopia | Nintendo

Miitopia (2017)

What looks like a spiritual successor to Find Mii blended with the quirkiness of Tomodachi Life, Miitopia is shaping up to be a pocket RPG with enough depth and character to satisfy quick bursts or longer engagements. Details are still light, but I’d expect some heavy StreetPass integration in this one.

Kirby Multiplayer Action Game (Working Title) (Holiday)

Literally no details other than it’s coming to 3DS this holiday season.

So there you have it, Nintendo is still going to support the 3DS family of handhelds at least through the year. Though, with the smash success the Switch is having from the first month out, will we see a decline in support in 2018?
